Syriac Cultural Association in Syria holds a dialogue session on World Syriac Press Day
HASAKAH, Syria — The Syriac Cultural Association held a dialogue session on World Syriac Press Day to discuss the situation of the Syriac press and media.
In comments to our news desk, the administrator of the Syriac Cultural Association Armen Mardo stated that the aim of holding this session is to shed light on the Syriac press and the stages it has gone through.
Mardo added that the session witnessed wide participation from those interested in journalistic affairs, media figures, officials and representatives of various institutions of Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people.
Mardo revealed that the session was held in partnership with the Center for Syriac Strategic Studies.
“The session included several topics, including the situation of journalism and ways to develop it,” he declared.
