US-led International Coalition delivers vital medical aid to Tel al-Jair clinic in North and East Syria
HASAKAH, Syria — In a collaborative effort involving the Civil Affairs Team of the US-led International Coalition, the Health Authority of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES), and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), essential medical assistance was delivered to the clinic of Tel al-Jair, south of Hasakah, North and East Syria.
Dr. Mamo Khalil, the Head of the Health Directorate in Hasakah, confirmed the reception of crucial medical aid from the Coalition. The primary objective is to bolster the operations of the clinic located in the Hasakah countryside.
Emphasizing the clinic’s significance, Co-Chair of Tel al-Jair Council Ali al-Ali highlighted it services to 86 villages, catering to a population exceeding 30,000 individuals in the surrounding area.
“We urgently require this medical assistance to fortify the clinic,” Ali stated.
While acknowledging the Coalition’s prior efforts in fully equipping the clinic, Ali noted that the persistent challenge lies in ensuring the availability of qualified medical personnel to operate the provided medical apparatus effectively.
