Turkish drone strikes southern Kobane, North and East Syria, claims life of Syrian Democratic Forces fighter, injures two
KOBANE, Syria — In another incident highlighting the continuous violations by Turkey against the people of North and East Syria, a Turkish drone targeted a vehicle in the southern countryside of Kobane, resulting in the tragic loss of life and injuries to several fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The confirmed the martyrdom of one of its fighters in the attack and the injury of two others in a drone strike targeting their vehicle in the village of Bogaz, situated south of the city of Kobane.
In its statement, the SDF Media Center condemned the aggression and detailed the casualties, emphasizing the ongoing threats faced by its fighters in the region. The incident further underscores the escalating assaults by Turkey, marked by a significant increase in attacks on both infrastructure and service institutions over the past month. These attacks have resulted in the loss of numerous lives, adding to the toll on the already vulnerable population in the region.
