President of Universal Syriac Union Party Ibrahim Mrad calls on Christian parties in Lebanon to determine fate of Christians

BEIRUT — President of Universal Syriac Union Party in Lebanon (USUP) Ibrahim Mrad commented on Christians’ situation in Lebanon and war repercussions, as well as policies of the Iranian Hezbollah militia in Lebanon.

Mrad declared that they appealed to the Syriac Maronite Patriarch Mor Bechara Butros al-Rai to meet with the Christian parties in Lebanon to determine their fate and fate of Lebanon, because the other parties are working at the expense of the Christian presence, rights and interests.

“Christians have paid the price in Lebanon with blood of thousands of martyrs. Today, their visions and demands must be united to know their future fate,” Mrad added.

Mrad called on all Christian parties, especially the sovereigns, to meet and take decisions to save Christians and thus save Lebanon from the crises and occupation.
