KERKESLOKH, Iraq — The sporting prowess of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian community in Iraq continues to shine with Akkad Ankawa Athelic Club clinching the Kurdistan Badminton Championship.

In a thrilling match against the Kiwan Athletic Club, Akkad Ankawa emerged victorious with a score of 2 to 1. The championship took place in Kerkeslokh (Kirkuk) Governorate, showcasing the skill and determination of the athletes.

Akkad Ankawa has consistently performed well in the championship over the past 15 years, solidifying its place among the best badminton clubs in the region.
