Syriac–Assyrian political parties in Sweden to unveil joint agreement to address challenges in homeland

BOTKYRKA, Sweden — On Sunday, 3 December, a joint agreement among several Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) political parties in Sweden is set to be announced.

This collaborative effort stems from ongoing discussions among key parties, including the European Syriac Union (ESU), Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO), Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa), and Beth Nahrin Democratic Party.

The forthcoming agreement will shed light on the challenging circumstances faced by the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community in the homeland of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia) and delve into the conditions affecting them across the Middle East.

The involved parties extended an invitation to all members of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community in Botkyrka, Sweden, as well as across various regions of Sweden. Additionally, they welcome the participation of all political parties, emphasizing the collective responsibility to champion the rights of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people in their homeland.
