Inaugural celebration marks launch of Beth Nahrin Youth Organization in Bartella, Iraq
BARTELLA, Iraq — Under the auspices and management of the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB), a celebration was organized in the Nineveh Plains town of Bartella, Iraq, commemorating the establishment of the Beth Nahrin Youth Organization. The event, hosted at the local committee headquarters of the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) in Bartella drew the participation of numerous young members from the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian community.
Held as part of the ongoing efforts to empower and guide the youth toward positive endeavors, the celebration showcased the commitment of the local committee in Bartella to foster the development and engagement of young individuals within the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian communities in Iraq.
Taking place on Saturday, the event featured the active participation of Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian youth, including members of the Beth Nahrin Youth Organization. Ablahad Saka, a member of the MUB, delivered a compelling lecture to the audience, shedding light on the conduct and ethics upheld by the MUB.
During the lecture, Saka emphasized the vital elements of love, understanding, positive dialogue, and determination in all youth activities. He underscored the pivotal role that youth play in societal development, emphasizing their responsibility in preserving the values, heritage, and history of the community.
As a symbolic gesture, sports equipment was distributed to 11 individuals from Bartella sports teams.
