Syriac Youth Union in Lebanon organizes free osteoporosis screening campaign for women

BEIRUT — In a collaborative effort with Iyamed Pharmaceuticals, the Syriac Youth Union in Lebanon organized a campaign to provide free osteoporosis screenings for women. The campaign, “Don’t Allow Fracture to Recur,” was held at the central headquarters of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) in Sad al-Baouchriye, Beirut.

This campaign is among the various activities undertaken by the Syriac Youth Union, particularly within the scope of USUP’s efforts, with a specific focus on promoting family health, especially for women.

The USUP, leveraging its charitable entities such as the Syriac Youth Union, remains committed to its humanitarian endeavors, dedicated to supporting the well-being of Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) families, particularly women, in Lebanon.

Prior to this osteoporosis screening campaign, the Union successfully conducted a campaign distributing medications for diabetes patients, addressing the pressing needs of individuals amidst the challenging political and economic crises facing Lebanon and its citizens.
