SDF and US-led Coalition bolster defensive preparedness through live ammunition exercises in Dayro Zcuro, North and East Syria
DAYRO ZCURO, Syria — In a proactive move to enhance preparedness against potential threats from Iranian militias, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in collaboration with the U.S.-led International Coalition, recently engaged in live ammunition military exercises. The exercises took place in the Omar Oil Field situated in the eastern countryside of Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor), North nd East Syria.
The Coalition forces extended the military exercises to the Koniko Gas Field military base, also located in the outskirts of Dayro Zcuro, employing live ammunition for comprehensive training scenarios.
Simultaneously, a US forces cargo plane, laden with logistical and military supplies, touched down at the Kharab al-Jir base in the Rmelan countryside, arriving from Iraq. The base experienced heightened activity, marked by intensive helicopter flights overhead.
These rigorous and periodic exercises underline the Coalition’s commitment to fortifying its military bases across North and East Syria, ensuring a robust defense against potential threats in the region.
