Bethnahrin Women’s Union congratulates Syriac people on Christmas

BETH NAHRIN — Bethnahrin Women’s Union (Huyodo d’Neshe d’Bethnahrin, HNB) congratulated the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people on Christmas.

In its statement, the HNB declared that the birth and incarnation of Lord Jesus Christ created the philosophy of equality in the world and salvation for the oppressed.

The HNB added that the Syriac women played an important role in Christianity, and later organized themselves in the ranks of the national struggle under the supervision of the Bethnahrain National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) led by its present Michael Naim Hadodo.

The HNB stated that they will remain linked to the national struggle and Syriac women struggle to achieve their rights and equality between men and women.

At the end of his statement, the HNB congratulated the Syriac people on the birth of Christ, who brought salvation to humanity, hoping that this year be a new beginning for Syriac people so that they can gain their freedom.
