Syriac Malfono Yusuf Begtaş publishes a new book

BETH NAHRIN — After multiple studies and researches in history of Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people, the Syriac writer Malfono Yusuf Begtaş wrote a book titled “Syriac Culture.”

The book includes information about the importance of Syriac culture and its role in history of Syriac people.

This book, which is published in Syriac and Turkish, aims to shed light on the Syriac culture, and shows the coincidence and conflict of cultures throughout history.

“The book contains information about Syriac people, history and culture,” Begtaş stated.

Begtaş publishes multiple articles on various topics. He also has programs on Suroyo TV, in which he presents his latest works.

During his articles and TV programs, Begtaş constantly talks about accepting the other, the need for people to understand their feelings and accepting themselves, as well as thinking about what can be offered to humanity.
