Missile attack hits ISIS detention facility in Hasakah, North and East Syria; Clashes erupt during attempted infiltration of Turkish military base by Manbij Military Council
HASAKAH and MABBUG, Syria — The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported a missile attack targeted Al-Sina’a Prison in Hasakah, North and East Syria, which holds Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists. The strike targeted the section housing former members of the so-called “Cubs of the Caliphate,” resulting in minor injuries to the detainees. Despite the attack, security measures by the SDF and Internal Security Forces (ISF) prevented any escape attempts by the terrorist detainees.
In related news, members of the Manbij Military Council (MMC) attempted to infiltrate a Turkish military base in the Mabbug (Manbij) countryside, leading to clashes with members of the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army (SNA). Details about casualties in the clashes remain undisclosed.
