USUP hosts delegation from Zahle General Assembly for strategic discussions on regional developments
ZAHLE, Lebanon — In Zahle, Lebanon, the local branch of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) hosted a delegation from the Zahle General Assembly, led by Joseph Masaad, to exchange views and address key developments.
The delegation was welcomed by the USUP Secretary General, lawyer Michel Mallo, and the USUP coordinator in the region, Joseph Hamzo.
Building on the foundation laid during a meeting held last week at the Assembly, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative efforts. They outlined plans and projects geared towards the betterment of the Zahle Region.
During the discussions, the two sides delved into Lebanon’s overall political landscape, the concept of regional federalism, and the pressing issue of Syrian displacement. The talks focused on understanding its repercussions on the region and devising effective strategies to address the challenges posed.
