The annual awards, recognizing outstanding achievements in the realm of football, selected Lawanhomi for her exceptional abilities and skills within the sport. The magazine lauded her as the Best Player of the Year 2023, commending her near flawless performances.
Back in 2019, Lawanhomi had earned a spot on the Swedish national team in the female junior category, showcasing her prowess and dedication to the game.
Currently playing for Skövde KIK, she traces her origins to the villages of the Khabur River Valley in North and East Syria.
