Syriac Catholic Patriarch inspects construction of Our Lady of Peace Monastery in Hmoth (Homs), Syria
HMOTH, Syria — Syriac Catholic Patriarch Ignatius Youssef III Younan undertook an inspection visit to the ongoing construction of the Our Lady of Peace Monastery in Marmarita, Hmoth (Homs), Syria, within the Archdiocese of Hmoth, covering Hmoth, Hemto (Hama), and Nabak.
The Patriarch was accompanied by the Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Hmoth, Hemto, and Nabak Mar Julian Yacoub Murad, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Baghdad and Secretary of the Holy Synod Mar Afram Youssef Abba, Secretary General of the Patriarchate and Patriarchal Curator Monsignor Habib Murad, and Patriarchal Vicar of the Archdiocese of Hmoth, Hemto, Nabak Father George Massouh.
During the visit, the Patriarch inspected the construction works that have been carried out to date and heard from Archbishop Yacoub Murad about the future construction work being prepared in the next stage.
