Syriac and Armenian Property Committee inspects properties in Shaddadi, North and East Syria

SHADDADI, North and East Syria — A delegation from the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Armenian Property Committee conducted an inspection of properties in Shaddadi, Hasakah, North and East Syria, with the aim of preventing encroachment.

The delegation held meetings with the Co-Chairs of the Shaddadi District Council and residents of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Armenian community properties.

During these discussions, the delegation emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination to safeguard and reclaim these properties within the bounds of the law.

Furthermore, agreements were reached with the residents to pursue legal avenues for property recovery.

The delegation, in collaboration with the District Council, agreed to conduct a comprehensive census of remaining properties, including agricultural and commercial lands in the area.
