Bethnahrin National Council Official Sobhi Aksoy: Turkish regime seeks to annihilate peoples and destabilize their safety

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In an interview with Suroyo TV, Member of the Presidential Body of the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo d’Bethnahrin, MUB) Sobhi Aksoy stated that the Turkey practices hostility with peoples through Turkification, marginalization and exclusion of opposing opinions, killing and displacement.

Aksoy added that the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria is a local government that consists of the people of the region.

“Most countries of the world do not consider the Democratic Autonomous Administration a terrorist organization, except for Turkey that promotes these claims,” he continued.

He declared that the Syriac Military and Security Forces were established to defend the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people and other peoples in the face of terrorist organizations.

“The Syriac Forces also preserve security, property and churches, and they did not attack or encroach on neighboring countries,” Aksoy stated.

He added that Turkey has hostile intentions. In 2015, Turkey sought to annihilate the Syriac people in Khabur Valley, by supporting the Islamic State (ISIS).

However, the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) and other military forces liberated those areas.
