Kindergarten in Bartella, Iraq, celebrates Mother’s Day with songs and performances
BARTELLA, Iraq — In the Nineveh Plains town of Bartella, Iraq, the Mor Ephrem Kindergarten celebrated Mother’s Day with an event themed “My Mother is My Eyes and My Heart.”
The event featured songs and hymns performed in Syriac, Arabic, and English, along with various performances honoring the pivotal role of mothers.
Spiritual supervisor Father Yacoub Saadi and Father Daoud Suleiman Dosha, along with mothers of the kindergarten children, attended the event.
During the event, both priests delivered speeches praising the essential role of mothers in shaping future generations, offering heartfelt congratulations and blessings to all mothers present, while also remembering and asking for mercy and forgiveness for all deceased mothers.
