National Parties Coordination and Consultation Committee meets in Tel Tamr, North and East Syria, to discuss key national issues
TEL TAMR, North and East Syria — Gathering at the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Party (ADP) in Tel Tamr, North and East Syria, the National Parties Coordination and Consultation Committee met for its regular session. Led by member party leaders, including Sanharib Barsom (Syriac Union Party, SUP) and Gabriel Moshe (Assyrian Democratic Organization, ADO) the meeting addressed crucial national matters and recent developments.
Amid warm exchanges for Easter and the Babylonian Syriac–Assyrian New Year, Akitu 6774, the parties delved into pressing political and national concerns. Following discussions, the delegation visited Mar Afram Athneil, Metropolitan of Syria of the Assyrian Church of the East, to express holiday greetings and acknowledging the Metropolitan’s contributions to causes of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people.
Metropolitan Athneil commended the collaborative efforts of the parties and the Committee in advocating for the interests of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community.
