Internal Security Forces delegation congratulates Syriac Security Forces on Akitu
ZALIN, Syria — In celebration of Easter and the Babylonian Syriac–Assyrian New Year, Akitu 6774, a delegation comprising the Interior Authority of Gozarto (Jazira) Canton, North and East Syria, the General Command of the Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Gozarto Canton, ISF Public Relations, and the Immigration and Passport Office in Gozarto Canton, visited the Command of the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) and Sutoro Women in Zalin (Qamishli).
The delegation was warmly received by the Sutoro General Command, extending congratulations to the Sutoro and Sutoro Women, as well as to the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people on Akitu.
During the visit, discussions revolved around the significance and historical context of Akitu, emphasizing its importance for the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people. Additionally, the Sutoro and Sutoro Women’s pivotal role in ensuring the security of Akitu celebrations across Gozarto Canton was acknowledged and appreciated.
