Syriac Union Party hosts Kurdish Left Party delegation in Hasakah, North and East Syria
HASAKAH, North and East Syria — At its headquarters in Hasakah, North and East Syria, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) welcomed a delegation from the Kurdish Left Party. The meeting centered on shared concerns and regional developments. The Kurdish Left Party also congratulated the SUP and Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community on Akitu 6774, the Babylonian Syriac–Assyrian New Year.
The visiting delegation included members of the Central Committee Adnan al-Bari and Azhar Ahmed, representatives from the Political Bureau Aziz Ahmo and Muhammad Sheikhmous, and member of the Kurdish Left Party Council in Hasakah Hassan Berro.
Welcoming the delegation, Maha Shabo, Co-Chair of the SUP Hasakah Branch, alongside engineer Fadi Dawi and Executive Committee members Armen Mardo, Khatun Issa, and Ghayath Dawi, emphasized the importance of cooperation and dialogue among different parties.
Amidst exchanging greetings on Akitu, both sides delved into various shared concerns and the latest regional developments.
