Delegation of Syriac Military Council and Beth Nahrin Women’s Protection Forces meets with Syrian Democratic Forces Command
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA, Syria — A delegation from the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulḥoyo Suryoyo, MFS), led by MFS General Commander Abjar Yacoub, along with representatives from the Beth Nahrin Women’s Protection Force (Ḥaylawotho d’Sutoro d’Neshe d’Beth Nahrin, HSNB), visited the Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in North and East Syria.
Welcomed by members of the General Command of the Women’s Protection Units (Yekîneyên Parastina Jin) Rohlat Afrin and SDF General Command member Mahmoud Barkhdan, the two Syriac delegations extended their congratulations on the birthday of imprisoned Kurdish political leader Abdullah Ocalan.
In return, Afrin and Barkhdan conveyed their best wishes to the delegates on the Babylonian Syriac-Assyrian New Year, Akitu 6774, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and solidarity among the ethnic communities in the region.
