Syriac artist wins a competition in the Netherlands
ENSCHEDE, Netherlands — The Syriac talented artist Jack Elijah won the first place for his artistic design, in a region in southern Enschede, the Netherlands.
Elijah design, which is a wheelchair of Enschede, was chosen out of other 50 designs because it symbolizes coexistence in this region.
The Enschede Municipality decided to allocate a money to erect this monument in the southern region.
The monument will remain as a memory for future generations on the creativity of the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people in the Netherlands.
