The Haydo family builds a memorial for Syriac fighter Şemun Hanne Haydo
TUD ABDIN, Turkey — With the advent of anniversary of the death of Syriac fighter of the 1915 Sayfo Genocide Şemun Hanne Haydo, the Haydo family built a monument for his commemoration scheduled on 15 September.
The event will also include screening a film about the fighter biography, which will last for an hour and a half.
Our news desk conducted an interview with the fighter grandson who stated that the memorial event will be held on 15 September, in the Sari village in Tur Abdin, as well as in Gronau and Enschede in Germany and the Netherlands.
The monument can be visited by all, for the commemoration and honor of the Syriac fighter Şemun Hanne Haydo.
