US-led coalition sends military reinforcements to bases amid Middle East tensions
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — Against a backdrop of escalating tensions and security concerns in the Middle East, the US-led International Coalition dispatched military reinforcements to its bases east of the Euphrates River in North and East Syria.
The reinforcements, comprising a military convoy equipped with anti-missile systems, have been deployed to three bases in the countryside of Dayro Zcuro (Deir ez-Zor), Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah), and Hasakah. The convoy arrived under tight protection by US armored vehicles, with Coalition drones conducting extensive aerial surveillance.
These ground and air reinforcements are part of the Coalition’s efforts to bolster its bases in Syria against potential attacks by Iranian militias.
