Syriac Security Forces of North and East Syria extend Easter wishes for peace and harmony
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In celebration of the Easter holiday, as observed in the eastern calendar, the General Command of the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) and Sutoro Women, extended heartfelt greetings to the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community and the families of martyrs.
Expressing hopes for Easter to serve as a beacon of peace, love, and stability across North and East Syria, the Sutoro underscored the holiday’s potential to foster resolutions to the ongoing Syrian crisis and lead the nation towards safety.
Emphasizing the profound significance of Easter, the Sutoro underlined its messages of brotherhood, faith, and sacrifice, as well as its universal call for love and peace.
Moreover, the organization reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to safeguarding Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) communities within their ancestral homeland of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia), aspiring for a Syria where peace and security reign, occupation ceases, and displaced individuals return to their rightful homes.
