Syriac Union Party hosts delegations for Easter celebrations in Gozarto Canton, North and East Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, and other branches across Gozarto (Jazira) Canton welcomed delegations from institutions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES), as well as active political parties in the region, to mark the Feast of Resurrection according to the eastern calendar.

Highlighting the strong ties between the ethnic components of North and East Syria, the delegations conveyed warm Easter greetings.

During the gatherings, the SUP engaged in discussions with the delegations about the overall situation in the region and explored avenues to enhance cooperation among the ethnic components and parties. Emphasis was placed on the importance of collaborative efforts for the betterment of the region and its people.
