Meeting between Ashraf Rifi and Ibrahim Mrad emphasizes unity for Lebanon’s reform

BEIRUT — In a significant meeting at his office in Achrafieh, Beirut, Representative Ashraf Rifi welcomed President of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) and Secretary-General of the Christian Front Ibrahim Mrad.

The dialogue centered on Lebanon’s prevailing circumstances, underlining the imperative of solidarity within the sovereigntist opposition. Mrad lauded Rifi’s steadfast commitment to consolidating unity within the sovereigntist opposition, acknowledging his pivotal role in this endeavor.

Throughout the meeting, both parties underscored the urgent need for collaborative efforts across all political spectrums to combat external influence, rejuvenate state institutions, and spearhead comprehensive political and economic reforms in Lebanon.
