Bethnahrin National Council visits families of martyrs on Easter
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In a longstanding tradition of remembrance and solidarity, committees from the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community’s military and security institutions paid tribute to the families of fallen heroes each year.
Recently, a joint delegation comprising representatives from the Martyrs’ Families Foundation and various security and military forces embarked on visits to extend Easter greetings with the families of our revered martyrs across several regions.
The visiting delegation, comprised of representatives from the Syriac Military Council’s (Mawtbo Fulḥoyo Suryoyo, MFS) Office of the Families of Martyrs, the Foundation for the Families of Syriac–Assyrian Martyrs, and the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro), and Sutoro Women conveyed heartfelt Easter greetings to the families of the martyrs, offering them solace and peace during this solemn time.
In addition to extending their warm wishes, the delegation took the opportunity to gain insight into the pressing needs and personal circumstances of the families, with a sincere intention to provide support and assistance where possible. These visits serve as a poignant reminder of the enduring bond between our community and the sacrifices made by our brave martyrs in defense of the community’s values and freedoms.
