Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian political parties and organizations meet in Baghdede, Iraq, to exchange Easter greetings
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — A joint delegation comprising members from the Baghdede Local Committee of the Beth Nahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo d-Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA), the HBA Women’s Union, Baghdede Youth, and Syriac folk band Kethoro visited officials and various institutions affiliated with the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) in Iraq.
Led by Baghdede Local Committee Official Samer Khaled Shamoun, the delegation commenced their visits by meeting with HBA head Yousef Yacoub Matti, followed by a visit to Hanan Matti Tuma, the head of the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW), and other HBA members and cadres.
During these visits, the delegation conveyed Easter greetings and engaged in discussions concerning the latest developments surrounding the holidays and the overall situation in Iraq.
