Syrian Democratic Council of North and East Syria holds a dialogue session in Austria on Syrian crisis development
AUSTRIA — During a dialogue session held in Vienna in Austria, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) of North and East Syria discussed the latest developments in Syria since the beginning of the Syrian crisis.
The session was attended by representatives of the democratic opposition and political figures interested in the Syrian issue.
The session began with a minute of silence for souls of the martyrs. Then, Co-Chair of the SDC Advisory Office Riad Darrar delivered a speech in which he spoke about the division that Syria is experiencing.
“This division will only end with the agreement of the Syrian people on one common direction,” he declared.
Darrar highlighted the efforts exerted to activate the Syrian dialogue between the active forces, stressing that the SDC supports all the paths that contributes in uniting Syria.
At the end of the session, the participants were invited to ask questions and present opinions, most of which revolved around the future of the political process in Syria.
The attendees stressed that any path to resolving the Syrian crisis will succeed only through a political process that includes all Syrian parties, without any exclusion.
