Sutoro Women held awareness sessions for Syriac women in North and East Syria
GOZARTO CANTON, Syria — In order to empower Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean- Assyrian) women in all sectors of life, the Syriac Sutoro Women held awareness sessions in the Gozarto Canton, in North and East Syria.
In comments to our news desk, an Administrative of the Sutoro Women in Dayik (Malikiyah) confirmed that they held awareness sessions to Syriac women, so that they could defend themselves and their rights, as well as take up arms.
The Sutoro Administrative added that the sessions were held in Dayrik (Malikiyah), Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah) and Hasaka, noting that other sessions will be soon held in Zalin (Qamishli).
She also pointed out that the Sutoro Women held these sessions in cooperation with the Beth Nahrin Women’s Protection Force (Ḥaylawotho d’Sutoro d’Neshe d’Beth Nahrin, HSNB).
