Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria hold 4th conference in Hasakah
HASAKAH, North and East Syria — The Internal Security Forces (ISF) of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES) held their 4th conference in Hasakah.
The conference was attended by key officials, including the DAARNES Executive Council Co-Chairs, the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Co-Chairs of the Interior Authority, Interior Authority Co-Chairs in the Cantons, the General Command of the Syriac Security Forces (Sutoro) and Sutoro Women, the Syriac-Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation, the Democratic Society Movement, and Kongra Star.
The opening speech was delivered by SDF General Commander Mazloum Abdi, who congratulated the ISF on holding their 4th conference and praised their achievements over the past two years.
The conference featured speeches and the presentation of the ISF’s annual report, which emphasized plans to enhance ISF efficiency in the coming year through various intellectual, legal, and specialized training courses. Additionally, there are plans to expand the Operations Forces and Special Forces, and to increase support for the Anti-Drugs and Anti-Crime Department and the Public Security Service.
The draft of the new ISF bylaws, which includes restructuring some departments, merging others, and establishing new ones, was also read and unanimously approved.
