Turkish forces set fire to agricultural crops in Zalin (Qamishli) and Amuda in North and East Syria
GOZARTO CANTON, Syria — Targeting the residents livelihood, the Turkish forces stationed on the border set fire to agricultural lands opposite the villages of Kharab Kurt and Doda in the countryside of Zalin (Qamishli) and Amuda, in the Gozarto (Jazira) Canton in North and East Syria.
In Zalin (Qamishli), the fire spread over an area of more than 800 dunums, in the village of Kharab Kurt, leading to a complete burning down.
In Amuda, the fire caused the burning of about 15 dunums to farms in Doda in the Amuda eastern countryside.
The fire brigades rushed to put out the fires in Zalin (Qamishli) and Amuda. The fire brigades managed to curb the fires, even though they were targeted by the Turkish occupation forces.
