Christian Front in Lebanon condemns statements of Shiite Hezbollah and Amal Movement

BEIRUT —  The Christian Front in Lebanon issued a statement, condemning the racist statements of the Shiite Hezbollah and the Amal Movement, which accused the Lebanese Christians of disloyalty.

“The statement of the Shiite Hezbollah and Amal Movement accuses everyone of disloyalty, while they themselves are disloyal, because Lebanon has been destroyed due to their support for the Iranian control,” read the Front statement. “They turned Lebanon into a homeland of death.”

The Front statement added that the Shiite Hezbollah and Amal Movement had a role in fueling the war in the Gaza Strip by luring Hamas to fight a war against Israel through which they wanted to eliminate the Palestinian issue.

The Front statement pointed out that the Shiite Hezbollah and Amal Movement rejected the idea of federalism because they want to control what reminded of Lebanon wealth.

“Shiite Hezbollah and Amal Movement are not only rejected by the Christians in Lebanon but also by all other denominations such as Sunnis, Druze and even by some free Shiites who reject their heinous actions against the Lebanese people,” the Front concluded.
