Tur Abdin Clubs Football League concluded in Germany

GÜTERSLOH, Germany —  The two-day Football League of the Tur Abdin Villages Clubs was concluded in Gütersloh, Germany, Correspondent of Mzizah News Gabro Kiliç reported.

The League was organized by the Tur Abdin Club in Gütersloh and the Aramäer Harsewinkel Club.

The League included 21 clubs of the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) peoples in Germany participated in the League. However, with the start of the League, 19 out of 21 clubs participated.

A large number of Syriac people and clerics attended the matches.

Kiliç added that the clubs were divided into 3 groups on 2 stadiums, under the supervision of 4 foreign referees.

After the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches, the Mzizah Club won the first place. The Arbo Club, which ranked first during the last League, ranked second.

The Bote Club ranked third and the Iwardo Club won the fourth place.
