Daramsuq ranked least livable city in world for 12th consecutive year
DARAMSUQ — The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) published its 2024 report on the ranking of the most livable cities in the world, placing Daramsuq (Damascus) as the least livable city in the Middle East for the 12th consecutive year.
In the global ranking of the most livable cities, 173 cities were evaluated based on several factors, including stability, infrastructure, education, healthcare, safety, and political stability.
Daramsuq scored particularly low in stability.
The report indicated that several cities, including Daramsuq, have not seen any improvement in their overall ratings since 2023.
