Syriac Union Party hosts Kurdish Left Party delegation in Zalin, North and East Syria, to discuss regional and political developments
ZALIN, Syria — As part of ongoing periodic visits between political parties in North and East Syria, the Syriac Union Party (SUP) welcomed a delegation from the Kurdish Left Party at its headquarters in Zalin (Qamishli).
The visiting delegation included Secretary General Mohammed Musa and Political Bureau members Mohammed Abdo and Aziz Ahmo. They were received by SUP Co-Chair Sanharib Barsom, SUP Executive Body member Afram Ishak, and SUP Council member Rubel Bahho.
The discussions focused on key developments in the regional and local arenas, with particular attention to the political situation in Syria overall and in North and East Syria specifically.
Both sides addressed recent political developments in the region, including ongoing Turkish threats to the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES) and the local population.
The parties committed to continuing periodic bilateral visits to support the interests of the region’s people.
