Syriac surgeon Miden Malle Hanna receives EU funding for innovative cancer treatment technology
JÖNKÖPING, Sweden — Miden Malle Hanna, a 45-year-old Syriac surgeon based in Jönköping, Sweden, is making significant strides in the medical field with her ambitious research aimed at improving cancer treatment and addressing bladder water cysts.
Alongside her hospital duties, Malle Hanna has been developing an innovative approach to treating cancer patients. She has been working with a team of researchers for many years to design a machine and technology for the removal of cancerous tumors.
Recently, Malle Hanna and her team received substantial funding from the European Union to support their groundbreaking project. According to a report by the Jönköping newspaper, the EU is providing 28 million kronor to advance this initiative, which aims to reduce both the duration and costs of cancer treatment.
With this funding, scientists and doctors will soon be able to develop the machine and apply the technology in the medical field.
Expressing her gratitude, Malle Hanna, the daughter of the Syriac writer Anna Malle, stated, “It is a pleasure and joy that we were able to reach this stage in the field of medicine.”
