Syriac Swedish psychotherapist Toumas Touma publishes book on overcoming dark thoughts
NORSBORG, Sweden — Syriac Swedish psychotherapist Toumas Touma discovered his passion for psychology early in life as he struggled with dark thoughts and deep, painful feelings. Today, he works as a psychotherapist, helping others navigate their psychological crises.
On 17 June, Touma published a book titled “I Won’t Care about Future Darkness.”
“The book will enable a person to treat themselves and teach them self-acceptance,” Touma stated.
The book includes methods to help individuals overcome gloomy thoughts, live comfortably, and dispel fears about the future. Touma also shares examples from his own life, discussing how he changed his outlook to achieve a good education and the ability to connect thoughts and feelings.
“Often, a person’s thoughts do not reflect the reality of life,” Touma said. “The future should not be a source of fear, but an opportunity for growth and increased happiness.”
