Iraqi Electoral Commission delegation visits Bethnahrin Patriotic Union headquarters in Baghdede

BAGHDEDE, Iraq — As part of its tour of officially licensed party headquarters, a delegation from the Department of Political Parties and Organizations Affairs of the Independent High Electoral Commission in Iraq visited the Baghdede (Qaraqosh / Hamdaniya) headquarters of the Bethnahrin Patriotic Union (Huyodo Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA).

The delegation was warmly received by the HBA local committee, represented by its head, Samer Khaled Chamoun, and several other party members. The head of the party, Youssef Yacoub Matti, was also present.

The visiting delegation commended the administrative and organizational structure of the party, highlighting the adherence to legal frameworks and internal regulations as set forth by the Independent High Electoral Commission. In turn, Chamoun expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s efforts and thanked them for their visit, emphasizing the importance of their oversight and support for the party’s activities.
