President of Universal Syriac Union Party Ibrahim Mrad stresses defending law and freedoms in Lebanon
BEIRUT — During a solidarity meeting, President of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) Ibrahim Mrad received candidate for membership in the Beirut Bar Association Council lawyer Omar al-Kush, as well as lawyer Saadeddine Al-Khatib, at the USUP headquarters in Beirut.
The meeting was attended by the USUP Secretary General Michel Mallo and Internal Affairs Secretary Joseph Hajjar.
They discussed the affairs of the Bar Association and the importance of its role in defending the law and freedoms.
The current situation was also touched on.
Mrad confirmed USUP support for Al-Kush because he represents the aspirations to consolidate justice, freedom and rule of law.
