Christian Front calls for international inquiry on 4th anniversary of Beirut port explosion

BEIRUT — On the 4th anniversary of the Beirut port explosion, the Christian Front in Lebanon asserted that this terrorist act was an organized genocide against the people and homeland, committed by Iranian-backed Hezbollah.

Hezbollah stored nitrates and missiles for export and use by its allies, leading to the tragic event, all under the cover of the Lebanese government.

The Christian Front emphasized the importance of demanding the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution No. 1559 under Chapter VII to liberate Lebanon and free its people from Iranian occupation and Hezbollah, which have caused devastation and destruction.

The Front insisted on the necessity of an international commission of inquiry to investigate the bombing and urged the international community to hear the Lebanese people’s rejection of the Iranian occupation.

The Front highlighted that the port explosion led to the displacement of Beirut’s Christian population, as their areas were almost completely destroyed, and necessary compensation for reconstruction has yet to be disbursed.
