IRAQ: Saint Paul Church in Baghdede concludes summer Christian Education Course with 800 students
BAGHDEDE, Iraq — The Saint Paul Church Services House in the Nineveh Plains town of Baghdede (Qaraqosh / Hamdaniya), Iraq, has successfully concluded its summer Christian education course for primary students, with about 800 participants.
This year’s course, which began on 1 July, wrapped up last Saturday under the supervision of Father Ammar Yako, director of the Saint Paul Church Services House. The program was supported by a dedicated team of priest fathers and staff, including 80 teachers and 28 trainees. The students were transported to and from the church by 16 buses.
Father Ammar Yako highlighted the variety of activities included in this year’s Christian education course. These ranged from teaching sessions and educational films to guidance panels and hymns. Additionally, a weekly activity involved visits to local churches or significant sites in Baghdede.
