Turkish forces intensify bombardment in North and East Syria, no casualties reported
TEL TAMR and MABBUG, North and East Syria — Turkish forces continue their aggressive campaign against the peoples of North and East Syria with relentless daily bombings, while the international community remains silent and fails to hold Turkey accountable for its actions.
According to the Media Center of the Mabbug (Manbij) Military Council (MMC), the Turkish Army and its proxy Syrian National Army (SNA) intensified their bombardment over the past 24 hours, targeting villages in northern and western Mabbug near the front lines. The Turkish forces fired 103 mortars and artillery shells, along with two anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs). Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
In addition, Turkish forces launched a heavy artillery assault on the village of Timar (Umm al-Keif), located north of Tel Tamer in the Khabur River Valley. According to informed sources, the village was struck by more than ten shells.
The Tel Tamer Military Council (TTMC) and the Syriac Military Council (MFS) remain deployed on the Tel Tamer front, working to prevent Turkish forces from advancing. They have inflicted significant losses on the Turkish-backed forces in both lives and equipment.
