Syrian Democratic Council hosts political seminar in Amsterdam to promote Syrian national dialogue and unity

AMSTERDAM — As part of its ongoing efforts to foster national dialogue, the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) held a political seminar in Amsterdam titled “Developments of the Current Situation and Future Prospects.”

The seminar brought together Syrian political activists and academics, with Rezkar Kassim, the SDC representative in Germany, also in attendance.

Majd Garrow, the SDC representative in the Netherlands, presented the SDC’s project aimed at uniting Syrian factions. The discussion centered on assessing the current political landscape in Syria and emphasized the necessity of finding a Syrian-led solution, free from external interference.

Kassim outlined the SDC’s vision for joint national action, underscoring the importance of national unity as the key to ending the crisis.

Participants stressed the significance of Syrian–Syrian dialogue in achieving a comprehensive and lasting resolution.

The event concluded with recommendations to further strengthen national dialogue and support SDC initiatives. This seminar is part of a broader SDC effort to enhance cooperation among various Syrian political forces to achieve stability and alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.
