2024 Ankawa Youth Meeting concludes with focus on ‘Joy of Love’ and family values
ANKAWA, Kurdistan Region of Iraq — The 2024 Ankawa Youth Meeting, which commenced on 22 August under the slogan ‘Joy of Love’, successfully concluded at the Mor Eliya Shrine.
The event began with an evening of hymns performed by the Choir of St. Joseph Chaldean Cathedral. Following the musical presentation, Chaldean Archbishop of Erbil Mar Bashar Matti Warda delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the significance of ‘Joy of Love’, particularly in the context of marriage and family.
The first day’s activities featured dialogue sessions led by priests Salem Saka and Fadi Leon, focusing on the sacrament of marriage. These sessions included insights from married couples who shared their experiences on marriage and family life.
Lebanese singer Christiane Najjar also performed a special hymn evening, engaging and uplifting the audience with her music.
