Ibrahim Mrad: Hezbollah’s terror tactics threaten Lebanese opposed to Iranian occupation
BEIRUT — During a press conference held by the Sovereign Front for Lebanon, President of the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) Ibrahim Mrad addressed the growing threats against Lebanese citizens who oppose Iran’s influence in the country.
Mrad condemned Hezbollah as a terrorist militia, citing both its actions and the recognition of the international community. He stressed that no terrorist act is beyond the group’s capabilities, referencing its history of assassinations and ongoing threats.
Mrad added that Hezbollah frequently accuses those who reject the Iranian agenda of treason and collaboration with Israel, while its own corruption and loyalties are openly tied to Iran.
Concluding his remarks, Mrad declared that dialogue is futile when dealing with the Iranian axis, calling for all necessary means of resistance, including military confrontation, to oppose Hezbollah’s grip over the country. He emphasized that as an occupying force, Hezbollah must be challenged and fought.
