Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development distributes school supplies ahead of new academic year

ZALIN and QABRE HEWORE, North and East Syria — As a part of its continued efforts to support children and ease financial burdens for families in Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia), the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development distributed school supplies on Thursday morning in Zalin (Qamishli) and Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah) in North and East Syria. The aid included essential items such as notebooks, pens, and other school materials, just in time for the upcoming school year.

The organization also held activities for children, including competitions and recreational games as part of the summer session that had been organized over the past few months.

Around 60 children received school supplies, and the event concluded with the distribution of food and sweets, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement for the participating children.
