Syriac Women’s Union in Syria holds a first aid course in Hasakah
HASAKAH, Syria — Within the series of courses held by the Syriac Women’s Union (SWU) in Syria, the Ashtarut Women House of the SWU in Hasakah held a lecture on first aid, delivered by Ashtarut Women House Official Haifa Naama.
The lecture was attended by the SWU members and 80 women from the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean- Assyrian) people.
The participants expressed their gratitude for such courses, which are very necessary at this critical stage, since they contribute to women empowerment.
The lecture focused on how to help people in emergency case, as well as providing skills necessary to provide emergency medical care to the injured before transferring them to the hospital.
